20 kV cable and telecommunications line along the entire length of the route of 41 km. Cable lines were installed both on the open highway route and through 16 tunnels with a total length of 17.74 km and under 20 bridges with a total length of 6.1 km.

The project included the construction of 20/0.4Kv substations with 20kV cable distribution and a remote control system for powering buildings along the entire route of the Bar – Boljare highway, Smokovac – Mateševo section. The construction of the 41 km long section took seven years, and the work was completed in mid-2022. The implementation of this project will improve the transport network in Montenegro, but also valorize the economic potential of all gravitating areas.
