Construction of the first solar power plant on a business building in Montenegro.

The one-story UN ECO building in Podgorica, the so-called “smart building”, combines energy-efficient, ecological technology and modern design, and fits perfectly into the landscape on the banks of Morača River. During the construction process of this building, care was taken to meet the demanding construction standards, thanks to which this building is self-sustainable in terms of energy. This means that solar panels are being used to produce electricity for the needs of everyday functioning of the business space, while the surplus is aimed at investing in the UNDP’s Center for Sustainable Development and green projects in Montenegro.
